Windows are injection-molded from propionate for superior performance and are performed to the exact curve of crown protectors for easy installation, an exact fit, and a perfect seal against dust, dirt, and debris. For an extra margin of protection, windows are .060″ thick, yet they cost no more than ordinary .040″ thick windows. Choose from clear or green windows, which protect from glare and bright light. (Not suitable for welding protection) Lightweight, mounted Faceshield frames are constructed from strong, heat-resistant Noryl® and attached to the front peak of hard hats. A dual-channel mounting system anchors one channel to the hat and the other to the window, allowing users to lock windows into the work position or pivot up and out of the way when not needed. Locked channels prevent debris from getting between the cap and face shield.
